basically im a software engineer , but nowadays im free , im a house wife.. so i want to volunteer at library .. i did art and crafts courses aswell.. what ar my chances of getting hired there.. actualy im from asia i moved here in california 18 months ago .. im just worried about my english fluency.. im trying to improve it… what do u guys say.. will they allow me to volunteer at librray or not ??

You will not be hired and paid a salary but the library would gladly accept your time and knowledge. Stop in, introduce your self, explain you wish to volunteer. Do not worry about the language since there is plenty for everyone to do
Sure, they will. Just call and ask them about it. If you volunteer, then they’re not paying you, so they will let almost anybody volunteers who wants to. This may even help you with your English fluency!
