My teacher recs are great (both of them said i was the smartest kid they had ever seen)
Essay is great.
I also did research under a Brown proffesor for a year on Cellular Genetics, and I published a paper as the first author.
I am from Asia (subcontinent) and i love Harvard.

Your chances of getting in are very, very good (if that paper was accepted to a peer-reviewed journal) - and I don’t tell anyone that. Definitely play up the research angle, and hopefully you want to major in the sciences. By very, very good I mean better than 50% - since Harvard only takes about 7% of applicants. You’ll still need a few backup schools, but you’ve have a great shot at getting into one of the top schools for the sciences.
