Tough love
Kashmir(this is the correct spelling) is a part of India but during the separation of India and Pakistan some part of Kashmir went into Pakistan. Since then, the Pakistanis have been demanding the rest of Kashmir from India and for that they have been doing whatever they can. No true Kashmiri wants Kashmir to be a part of Pakistan and this truth is ironically known by Pakistan and all over the world because India is a place for everyone including the people from the most hated nation, Pakistan. Whereas Pakistan is not even a place to live for Pakistanis themselves. With each passing day, so many Pakistanis confess that they are suppressed and oppressed in Pakistan and they want to live in India which is a much better place. Therefore Kashmir at no cost wants to be a part of Pakistan and not many would have an objection to it being a part of India because right now, Kashmir is in a very bad state due to the terrorism there and it cannot afford being a separate nation. Kashmiris know that India is one of those countries where you can live freely with any religious inclination, even atheism without being exploited.
pakistanis claim they should have kashmir as the majority population there is muslim. what they foget is that india as a whole has more muslims than pakistan itself.
If Kashmir became independant they would only either be forced to join pakistan or possibly even agree to join pakistan.
What will this trigger??? So is it worth it?
Every Pakistani anyone meets will claim that India should rule Kashmir an independant state. So then why are THEY fighting for it??
some will say they are kashmiri freedom fighters, but yet again they will not mention Balochistan or the border with Afghanistan. Not to mention the fact that Pakistani cricketers are all punjabis. Kashmiris are not allowed on the national team. Point being; Free your own states and people before worrying about other countries
