I’m interested in teaching English in Asia when I get my degree. From some I hear I have to major in English- from some I hear I just need a 4 yr. college degree.. Anyone with experience on this?

I’ma sophmore [10th] right now in high school and I was thinking about going to college overseas [asia]. it would be nice to go back to my homeland philippines but im open to other parts of asia. so does anyone know any good colleges/universities?

Many of the students I met in the last several college semesters are from Asia on a student visa, who are here in America to major in art. One of them who is Korean, told me that she wants to study art, and “give what she learned here, and go back to her country to express it.”

Hi everyone I was wondering if any of you knew, if there is a/some meditation schools or just a monastery where Non-Buddhists can come maybe for some months or even longer, just for meditation, spiritual life, and live as them, in places like Tibet (probably won’t get into Tibet, because of China), Thailand, Japan. Somewhere.
I really want to try to live in the monastery’s with Buddhists.
Have anyone tried something like that? How is it?
